Role overview 

• Control budget/spending and develop process/report relating to Carlsberg’s promotion/marketing activities in full cycle, from set up and maintain contract system to site check execution in market and reviewing expense booked in system to reporting.

 What you’ll be doing

• Prepare monthly/quarterly report based on Group instruction and give meaningful comment on key variance versus last year and latest estimate. Present monthly actual spending to Commercial team and highlight all financial risks that need their action, if any.
• Lead the accrual process book and revert at month end by assigning timeline for marketing/accountant to book and review trade/brand marketing performance.
• Connect with Sale/HR and lead the monthly allocation process for BA expenses, ensure correct booking given BA performance by area and SKU.
• Manage closely accrual balance, ensure accuracy and completeness. Perform periodically reviews on long outstanding accrual balance with cost owner. Tracking accrual items with high risk and coordinate with cost owner/Finance controller in providing supporting documents to auditor.
• Acting as an Finance business partner in the whole budgeting process, coordinate with cost owner in term of collecting, reviewing data on slide decks of budget/Estimate/Commercial Review, explaining top down adjustment after meeting with region/group and checking budget availability in execution.
• Coordinate with cost owner on implementation of new requirement for reporting ie: new cost centre, new brand, new item, new price or discount for item, new dimension.
• Setup display program master in Dragon for Sale team to visit, select sample that ACACY need to cover for mass display program and ensure exceptional case approved via email is correctly reflect in system before payment.
• Based on Company P&L, prepare sub P&L for specific key account of MOFT and E-commerce, update with cost owner on monthly basis and highlight main driven factors.
• Perform site check on ad-hoc basis for execution of trade and brand marketing activities.

          Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5+ years’ experience of business finance or other relevant experience
• High proficiency in financial modelling techniques
• Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions,
• Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Experience processing data with Power Query, Power BI, Power automate are advantage
• Good business acumen
