Role overview
The purpose of this role is to ensure the implementation of Carlsberg's Health, Safety, Security and Environment standards, methods, tools, and processes in accordance with regional and global agreements. The role contributes to the consistent implementation of HSSE standards, drives strategy, fosters a culture of safety and environmental stewardship, and ensures compliance with regulations and requirements.
What you’ll be doing:
- Being in charge of the company overall H&S Agenda for Supply Chain, Commercial and field sales force including Field observations, inspections, training, coaching and guidance in compliance with all standards and policies for total company.
- Plan, direct and coordinate security activities in compliance with Security policies, programs and procedures or applicable government security requirements to protect the Company property, assets and people against invasion, injury, death, intimidation, harm and loss or damage from any preventable cause including fire, theft, embezzlement, damage or destruction, trespass, espionage, or sabotage.
- Drive & Execute the Company Environmental Agenda within the Production plant.
- Manage the local plan of HSSE audits and acts as a member of the ISC HSSE network to share lessons learned, expertise and participate in cross audits with ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 (or ISO45001) certifications including follow up.
- Ensure service providers and contractors comply with local systems.
- Advise and be a member of the local in case of critical or serious HS&E incident.
- Monitor, track and ensure the legal compliance as per country laws and regulations.
- Data reporting & dashboard at the country / regional level.
- Be advisor and support the site management team on all issues within their areas of responsibility (incl. accidents investigations, risk assessments).
- Rollout new initiatives from the group /region related to HSSE area.
- Initiates local performance reviews, identify trends, initiates and participates in problem solving activities.
- Be responsible & provide expertise during execution of CAPEX projects and manage department financial budget (OPEX), HSSE improvement projects.
- Develop team capability in line with departmental and individual plans (competencies and skills).
- Responsible for setting KPI s at the respective sites in line with Country, Region and Group targets and ensure KPIs understood and managed efficiently at all appropriate levels.
What we’re looking for
- University degree related to Safety, Health and Environmental Management or NEBOSH certificate or experience from relative position in Supply Chain
- 4-7 years’ experience in relevant to position
- Fluent in both local & English language (spoken and written)
- Clear understanding of safety practices in the industrial environment
- Good understanding of environmental laws and in sync with latest practices / technology
- Proactively aligns self and team towards the agreed priorities
- Actively promotes ''one - team'' spirit and collaboration across functions
- Takes into account details and big picture when solving problems
- Sets clear and stretch objectives and rigorously tracks their delivery
