Role overview
- Build-up & optimize processes and standard operating procedures (SOP) to adapt with new business requirement, including promote appliance of digitalisation.
- Enrich market intelligence and leverage data analysis to sourcing strategy & negotiation plan to maximize value contribution (savings).
- Promote capability of Procurement profession, including conduct training, develop reporting dashboard, join VIPEX projects, to be guidelines & control tower for Source to Pay process.
What you’ll be doing
- Gather current processes & procedures relating to Source to Pay for archiving and continuous fine-tuning; To be control-tower and daily guidelines for purchase requesters on policies, manuals and processes;
- Track & trace, facilitate & promote contract compliance rate;
- Build up database from recent sourcings (cost breakdown, balanced scorecard) and perform data analysis to identify trend and key focusing area for improvement;
- Build up supplier pool, update market intelligence and maintain supplier performance evaluation for all categories;
- Conduct supplier screening and develop vendor & items master data;
- Develop standard forms, standard operation procedures and workflows for Source to Contract and Contract to Pay process for all categories: direct, indirect and sales & marketing;
- Develop & maintain dashboard for KPIs relating to Source to Pay process;
- Promote digitalization in daily activities and processes to reduce paper works;
- Conduct training for new joiners on buying & purchasing policies, conduct annual refreshment for current staff; maintain capability matrix and control development plan for capability of buyers and purchase requestors;
- Participate into critical or mega sourcing projects, selecting and negotiating with suppliers to constantly strive for best purchase price while maintaining the highest level of quality, reliability and service
- Closely work with cross-departments at Local level, collaborate with Region & Group, factory and finance colleagues for whole Source To Pay process, including warranty & after sale services
- Responsible for the continuous development and improvement of procurement processes
- Develop cost reduction strategies in order to negotiate pricing as well as participate actively in supplier development and evaluation programs.
- Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and cost implications
- Manage team members to perform the assigned jobs, meeting specific objectives, business targets.
What we’re looking for
Education
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in sourcing/purchasing on various categories;
- Having experience in FMCG/ Food & Beverage is preferred;

- Strong knowledge and experience in application of Source-to-Pay Processes
- General knowledge and experience to conduct spend & demand analysis
- Through knowledge how to collect & analyze quantitative & qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers
- Direct experience in contract planning and execution
- Strong in contract negotiations on local level
- Strong knowledge on Legal & Tax is an advantage
- Online tenders, eSourcing via Ariba (or equivalent platform)
