What you'll be doing:
Lead VM function in Company including the rhythm of VM cycle – weekly, monthly, quarterly; facilitate communication between Finance and Commercial functions
- Pricing: coordinate periodical price analysis research and price ladder review; provide input for pricing considering target margins; support price execution in trade via value chain story, provide training and monitoring
- Promotions and trade terms: Enable digital system implementation, facilitate Contract Management System use for Commercial function, provide pre and post-promotion analysis; set promotional/ trade term guidelines
- Assortment and BPPC: Review and analyze SKU/channel/regional P/L at quarterly VM meetings to direct investment/ pack strategy, update FIT to provide VM input for execution; track execution via primary sales mix/distribution/FIT score dashboard
- Train commercial and finance teams on VM principles, the toolkit and how to drive insights. Engage with Group VM to share best practices and continuously improve VM approach and toolkits
What we’re looking for
- University degree
- Experienced in MS-office tools, Power BI, Power Pivot
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Commercial, Finance (Controlling), Supply chain (Planning), preferably in FMCG industry
- Fluent in English and local language (spoken and written)
- Strategic Vision: Ability to challenge the status quo, lead by example demonstrating 3A behaviour, identify opportunities, and express ideas to enable the advancement of the VM process.
- Result Orientation: Driven to achieve excellent results in a wide team environment. Ability and willingness to propose, learn and adapt to new ideas.
- Excellent communicator, presenter and networker
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to understand and deploy VM function
- Works within and understands a matrix organisation
- Team player who combines good communication skills with genuine analytical insight
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with the confidence to pre-empt difficulties before they arise and be unfazed dealing with the uncertain.
- Understanding of Company’s P&L and key business metrics: Revenue, GPaL margin, EBIT, Market Share
- Understanding of the standardized Portfolio Management processes within Carlsberg Group
- Deep understanding of Statistics, experienced analyst of historical data
- Ability to work across all levels in various functional areas such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance.
- Understanding of shopper / consumer: insights, mission, consuming occasions etc.
