Strategic purpose of the position:

Implement all activities related to Supply Chain/ Procurement Manager related activities Sourcing and Purchasing. Further, the position is charged with understanding the capabilities, dynamics and competitive factors in the associated supply markets

Job summary

·       Co-develop the Selection/ Quality KPI with the Project leaders (Raw materials and Packaging materials) to ensure that the suppliers are prequalified before inviting to the tenders.

·       Compile, request for quotes and engage in the approval process as per the procurement guidelines

·       Establish contractual documentation which will include non-disclosure, confidentially etc. Actively engaging with stakeholders to ensure that their input into decision making is obtained in a timely manner

·       Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating with suppliers to constantly strive for best purchase price while maintaining the highest level of quality, reliability and service

·       Closely work with Region/ Group, factory and finance colleagues for whole Source To Pay process, including warranty & after sale services

·       Responsible for the continuous development and improvement of procurement processes

·       Develop cost reduction strategies in order to negotiate pricing as well as participate actively in supplier development and evaluation programs.

·       Analyze market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and cost implications

·       Secure supply, source for alternative materials/ supplier, including commodities

·       Deeply involve in New Product Development process under tight deadlines

·       Striving for continuous improvement to deliver net savings

·       Manage team members to perform the assigned jobs, meeting specific objectives, business targets.

·       Train, coach the team members to improve their competencies, behaviors to meet the job requirements.

Personal qualifications / competencies:

Experience:

·       Having procurement or supply chain related experience

·       Minimum 5 years relevant experience in sourcing, purchasing (or sales), and managing at category level (Raw materials & Packaging materials)

·       Having experience in FMCG/ Food & Beverage is preferred.

Functional skills:

• Strong knowledge and experience in application of Source-to-Pay Processes
• General knowledge and experience to conduct spend & demand analysis
• Through knowledge how to collect & analyze quantitative & qualitative information to assess, screen and select suppliers
• Direct experience in contract planning and execution
• Strong in contract negotiations on local level
• Strong knowledge on Legal & Tax is an advantage

Other skills:

·       Experience in Commodities trading is an advantage

·       Presentation, Project management skills both cross functional & cross culture

·       Manage internal customers, stakeholders.

·       Extensive usage of Microsoft Power Point, Word, Outlook and Excel

·       Fluent in English language (spoken and written)

·       Online tenders, esourcing via Ariba (or equivalent platform)
