Role Overview
Responsible for establishing and executing logistics strategy align with Carlsberg group logistics strategy. The individual will lead the entire logistics & distribution activities and related systems information.
What you’ll be doing
Strategic Management
- Managing and optimizing overall logistics operation
- Control and managed the operation cost within the targeted budget.
- Led the entire logistics & distribution team performance and ensure logistics team’ achieve all the intended KPI.
- Led diverse team of members from admin staff, lorry drivers
- Act as the key person to liaise with local authorities on any Tax, Excise, New product approval, etc..
- Manage outsourced 3rd party logistics provider to assure performance and develop appropriate measurement indicators.
- Optimise warehouse space to allowed continuous production.
- Support the Supply Chain process improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure control and effective inventory management on our finished goods.
Manage export/ import
- Work out with transporter & planning to calculate for weekly planning export
- Follow to get VAT return for company
- Pepare all document for export & follow the schedule with port
- Follow & prepare all payment related logistic
Manage delivery for Nationwide
- Deliver POSM for sales & combine with FG at most optimized cost
- Combine when not full truck to deliver within day
- Follow to check daily GPS distance
- Reconcile GPS km
- Negotiate with transporter + distributor to reduce km
- Add to annuxure to final km for payment
- Checking transporter/driver performance daily/ weekly
Control & Manage Transportation Nationwide (Included From Vendor)
- Check quotation & submit for final approval
- Do contract & follow ETD / ETA by day by trip
- Payment reconcilement
- Work close with wh for loading daily
- Follow transportation to external warehouse
- Follow payment & work close with finance for payment term as contract
Others
- To ensure cleanliness of the workplace and follow cleaning program as listed in the GMP Master Cleaning Schedule.
- To safeguard the company’s properties as well as not to reveal confidential information to non Carlsberg staff.
- To check and ensure accuracy of authority report
- To prepare Monthly Technical report for submission
- To liaise, follow up and write letter to customs on new finished Goods, material and changes.
Apply now if you are:
- Bachelor/Master in Logistics/Warehouse/Engineering/Business Admin or related major.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience and a background in logistics. Experience in dealing with Customs will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate and interact with people in a friendly, professional manner.
- Excellent verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record in Logistics Management, ideally within a planning environment.
- Experience in managing 3PL service level KPI.
- Have the drive and passion to promote process and cost efficiency.
- Strong team player with the ability to influence and motivate others to build productive and effective working relationships and a thorough understanding of Supply Chain processes.
- Demonstrates the ability to make quick and effective decisions to drive performance.
- Familiar or with experience in SAP and/or WMS.
